I just wanted to say Happy Thanksgiving to all of my followers. I don’t know you, but I love you! lol
I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving! This pic was from a potluck at work, pretty delish right?!
From ohsheglows.com – It was so yummy! I didn’t use red bells, but other than that it’s pretty much the same, minus the awesome photography. http://ohsheglows.com/recipage/?recipe_id=6049684
I mixed about two cups of gluten-free rolled oats with ground flax seeds and almond milk (you could also add egg whites), added a dash of baking powder, stevia and cinnamon, and let it soak for five minutes. The consistency was like a pudding. Next, I scooped out a large spoonful onto a heated, sprayed pan and cooked them like normal pancakes. So delicious with real maple syrup and almond butter, or whatever fruit toppings you like. Enjoy!
After learning that mustard greens increase the brain’s dopamine levels I had to try them. I’ve tried every other green leafy except this one, so I thought it couldn’t be that bad. But wow, raw-it was pretty bad. They really have a bite to them and do taste like mustard. However, as I suspected, cooking them changes everything. So delicious!
Cook some sprouted quinoa like the package instructs you to, and add a little seasoning salt, set aside once cooked.
Next, sauté the greens in coconut oil with a sprinkling each of toasted sesame seeds and lemon pepper.
Combine and top with pepper to taste and enjoy!
