3-4 organic celery stalks, washed and cut.
2 tablespoons of organic almond butter (or raw almond butter).
A few dried organic goji berries (to taste).
Easy as can be- just spread on the nut butter then place the “bugs” on the log and viola!
You could also try a homemade whipped almond butter:
1 cup of soaked almonds (soak in water overnight to remove the inhibitor enzyme then drain and dry well).
1/2 cup of unsweetened vanilla or original almond milk
1 tablespoon of raw organic honey
2 tablespoons of EVOO (certified product of origin, like from Whole Foods).
Blend and scrape until it’s a whipped consistency and refrigerate overnight. Note: This will NOT taste like peanut butter or traditional almond butter; it’s more of a whipped buttery spread.
